Looking for a simple way to help childproof your bi-fold doors? Our 3D Printed Bi-Fold Door Safety Locks are designed to help keep folding doors closed, adding an extra layer of protection to your home.
These sliding locks fit over the top of compatible bi-fold doors and slide into position to help prevent the panels from folding open. Their simple design makes them a convenient option for closets, storage areas, and other spaces you'd prefer to keep little explorers out of!
Each set includes TWO locks, making it easy to secure two compatible bi-fold doors.

📏 IMPORTANT: CHECK YOUR DOOR FOR COMPATIBILITY BEFORE PURCHASING!
Not all bi-fold doors are compatible with this design. Please check the following requirements before placing your order.
1. Door Thickness
Your bi-fold door must measure between 1-1/8" and 1-7/16" thick.
Please measure your actual door to confirm compatibility.
2. Door Material
This lock is designed for wood doors.
It is NOT designed for metal doors.
3. Top Hinge Placement
The top hinge must be at least 2" below the top of the door.
If the hinge is too high, the lock will not slide from side to side properly.
4. Door Panel Alignment
The tops of both door panels must be aligned.
If one panel is higher than the other, the lock will not slide easily.
The front surfaces of both panels must also be aligned. If one panel sits farther forward than the other, the lock may not slide easily.
5. Clearance Above the Door
When the door is open, there must be at least ¼" of clearance between the upper edge of the door and the door frame.
Insufficient clearance may make the lock difficult to install or slide and may also interfere with opening and closing the door.

⚠️ Please verify ALL compatibility requirements before purchasing. If your doors do not meet these measurements or alignment requirements, this product may not function as intended.

🖨️ A NOTE ABOUT 3D PRINTING
Each lock is made using PLA filament. Minor layer lines, surface variations, or slight differences in finish are normal characteristics of the 3D printing process.
Care Instructions: Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight, as PLA can soften or warp at high temperatures.
